Swordfish Caught in the North East

In recent years there have been many reports of unusual warmer water species being caught off the UK coast, with fisheries being devloped for anchovy and red mullet, but this year has had everyone scratching their heads wondering what is going on.

And now to confirm what is turning out to be a growingly bizarre year for both anglers and catching sector fishermen alike, a swordfish has been caught in nets off the North East coast.
