At the AGM of the Ulster Provincial Council of the Irish Federation of Sea Anglers on 1st October, Pat Boyle, the SACN Regional Co-ordinator was appointed as the council's conservation/pollution officer.
Pat's appointment increases the profile of the increasingly important issue of conservation in Irish Recreational Sea Fishing. Speaking of his appointment Pat Boyle said: "I am delighted to be associated with the IFSA and in particular the Ulster Provincial Council. It is heartening to find that our leading angling body has taken conservation and angler education to such high levels and I hope to be able to help further this in the future." |
