Following the creation of an RSA sub-committe by the Eastern Sea Fisheries Joint Committee, anglers in East Anglia have organised to ensure that local anglers know what is going on and have an opportunity to engage with fisheries management in their area.
News and details of the next ESFJC consultation meeting with local anglers on the 29th March is given on the angling groups new website at:
http://www.earsa.co.uk/
together with other information that will interest local anglers.
The creation of this group is another sign of the growing desire for anglers around the UK to become engaged with the fisheries management that affects the availability of fish and the development of strong recreational fisheries around the UK, and the growing willingness of fisheries managers to talk to anglers about what they want from inshore fisheries management.
